The shop and Cheese World share the same opening hours. From 14 September 2026 we are closed on Mondays; on 7 December and from 22 December to 6 January we are open on Mondays as well. Public holidays: 1 November closed, 8 December 10–18, 24 December 8–13, 25 December closed, 26 December 10–18, 31 December 8–18, 1 January closed, 6 January 10–18.

Public guided tours

Every Tuesday and Thursday we take you on an approximately one-hour tour of our dairy. No advance booking is required – simply drop by.

Outside these periods you can explore the exhibition area on your own during opening hours – without missing out on a tasting in the bistro.

When is the best time to come?

On our opening days from Monday to Friday, production runs between 08:00 and about 13:00 – that is when you can watch the cheesemakers at work. If you prefer a quieter visit, come in the afternoon.

Visit on your own

You can explore the exhibition area on your own during opening hours, no booking needed. Admission is €5.00 per person, children under 8 go free.

You will see the most on our opening days from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and about 13:00: that is when production is running and you can watch the cheesemakers at work.

On Saturdays and Sundays the machines stand still and there is no production – in return, admission is free on those two days.

After the tour you can order a cheese tasting directly in the bistro – no booking required.

Group tours

For travel groups, associations or school classes we offer tailored tours – from 15 people, exclusively on request and with prior booking. Send us a short message and we will suggest a date.
